TMNT X GIJOE - Storm Shadow x Slash

Slash is a character in the TMNT universe that I'm not too familiar with. I didn't watch the 80s animated series that much after the first season or two and according to the Internets, Slash wouldn't make a cartoon appearance until 1990. By that time I was heavy into sports cards and video games. Anyways, I did a little digging and it turns out Slash, much like Storm Shadow, is an anti-hero. A bad guy who occasionally does good things based on personal beliefs and feelings. That makes me like the character even more. Enough to make me want to track down his vintage figure at some point. But that's another post for another time. Today we take a look at Storm Shadow x Slash, another kick ass crossover figure from Playmates' new TMNT X GIJOE line!

What's not to like about this figure. SS x Slash comes with some serious cutlery. Katana swords, brass knuckle blade, bow and spiked mace make up SS x Slash's assortment of weapons. Most of which can be stowed away in his very efficient and functional backpack.

Another solid figure by Playmates, Storm Shadow x Slash is a must grab, even if you don't plan on picking up the whole collection. Also, these guys aren't expensive. Slash did just go up in price recently but the rest of the line can be had for less than $20 each on Amazon.
