2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

I've finally reached the end of my TMNT Mega Bloks rope.This Is the Bebop Villains Pack set that comes with Bebop and three Foot Soldiers.     You gotta hand It to Mega Bloks for creating  such  cool little articulated figures .It's amazing to me that something so tiny can be engineered to fit so well together and work!Seriously,If Mega Bloks created a 3 3/4 figure in this same manor,It would totally work!Imagine the fun customizers would have. It could be something like Mashers but without all the goofy ports. Baby Foot Soldiers!Everyone's favorite elongated skulled purple alien ninja!  I didn't think I was gonna dig the sewer plumbing display stands too much but man ,I fucking love em!The little action shot portraits are just awesome to look at.Mega Bloks has a way of making you forget that these are lego esque children's building blocks.I decided to get creative and add a second floor to this display.  Check thi...

This is  a pretty cool stand alone set,If your into the movie.I picked this up to compliment my set of four Eastman Laird turtles,but the characters don't really mix well.Save for the actual Kraang rubber figure(sans body),Shredder and Raph will probably be stashed (unless I decide to go after the other three turtles).    I always said that If I ever did  start picking up mini figs,they would be of the Mega Bloks variety.I like them better than Lego in that they are more poseable.The amount of removable accessories   Is insane. Everything from Raph's web gear (which also features holsters on the back for both sai's) to his mask,wristbands and shoulder pad.  I was disappointed In Shredder,though,because he didn't come with his trademark claws.Just a ,what i'm assuming , Mutagen gun.  Kraang looks pretty cool when stuffed into his host cyborg body. Time to wrap up my Eastman Laird Mega Bloks Turtles extravaganza.I kid.I have two more sets of TMNT Mega Bloks to look at before moving on to figures sized a little bit more to my liking.As much as I love this particular run of  B&W Mega Bloks  TMNT , I really miss my 3 3/4 figures! They look so damn cool together! I needed some villains to go up against my Eastman Laird Turtles and I figured ,why  not do a movie/comic crossover.I'll be going over this set sometime this week.

When I stumbled across the discount store site hollar.com ,I wasn't planning on getting anything other than the Paper craft's Deathstar. But with these little guys going for 2 bucks a piece ,I wasn't about to pass up on having the entire set of  Eastman & Laird's Turtles  for under 10 bucks! Plus ,It put me over the 15 dollar price range,qualifying me for free shipping! I'm digging the figure stand more than I thought I would.The little action shot portraits are a nice touch.There Is a ton of eye candy with these figures,from the box on down to the toys included within. Not pictured Is the instruction booklet which also features a mini comic strip .If the comic strip differs from turtle to turtle,I'll post pics of all four of them.  "COWABUNGA!"
