VTOPMART Display Case (Larger Figures)

Image
In case anyone was thinking about possibly picking up some of these VTOPMART display cases, here's how a few of the larger figures in my collection display in them. You'd be hard pressed to fit your whole collection of Marvel Legends in any of these but you can certainly fit a few at a time. I'm dangerously close to buying more, possibly creating a wall of them seeing as how they're stackable. Not sure yet. We'll see!  (Motu Core) (Motu Origins) (Motu Power Attack)  (Motu Masterverse) (Star Wars 6" 40th Anniversary)  (Marvel Select) (Marvel Legends) (GI Joe Classified)

Amazon VTOPMART Acrylic Display Case

Image
Before I get into my latest action figure purchases, I wanted to show you guys what I recently picked up on Amazon. This item might be old news to most of you but since joining Prime I've been finding lots of cool action figure peripherals like these VTOPMART clear display cases.    Everything arrived nicely packaged and undamaged. I bought a two-pack during the whole Prime day thing that took place last week or so. I think I paid $18 for the pair. I probably should have read the instructions before putting these together. There's definitely a specific order to follow when attaching everything.    All's well that ends well and I'm really digging the end result. They look really good. The acrylic display boxes are clean without any stress cracks or blemishes. You can go side by side or stack one on top of the other. Each unit comes with two shelves. For larger, 6 inch figures, you're gonna want to go with one shelf.  ...

My Walking Dead Display!

Image
What's up, people! I was originally going to go over my newly gifted Walking Dead figures, individually as I cracked them open, but ended up unpackiging most of them and putting them on display. There's so much to love about these figures. The detail, paint and awesome accessories are enough to keep you busy snapping photographs and recreating your favorite WD scenes. Below are some shots of the new display. Big Shout out to GI Jigsaw👍 love this Shane figure! Not very poseable but looks so damn sick on display! This Negan fig is so bad ass🔥🔥🔥 Sorry I didn't go too in depth with each figure but if you guys have any questions on any of the figures pictured above, I'd be happy to answer them😉

Happy New Year!

Image
The wife's away for a couple of days so what better way to spend the time than by setting up a new action figure display lol.I snatched this up from my parents today and will be filling it with action figures tonight over a glass of red wine 😉 Damn, 2020 !Where does the time go? Happy New Years people !

Curse Or Blessing?/This Was Our Bluetooth

Image
The dreaded empty space on your toy shelf! Is this a curse or a blessing? I don't know about you  but the minute I see an unused portion of  a shelf , my mind starts racing and I immediately begin   brainstorming the display possibilities lol. On the other hand , a vacant space like this can serve other purposes .I like to use It as a designated place to   snap pics of action figures. In fact I have a habit of leaving small spots like this open for that very reason. Although, the temptation to display something there Is strong ! Also , what exactly did we do before Bluetooth? Back In our day, anything wireless had to run on batteries and If It happened to be a speaker ,you'd still have to run an aux. cord or  AV cables. I remember the day I discovered the aux. port on an old boom box I had.I always wondered what It was for. Then It hit me!The hook up looked   alot like the headphone jacks that were present on most CRT  television se...

Marvel Select Display Set Ups (Part 2)

Image
The Danger Room display was cool but when you look at It ,you know It's the Danger Room.Only X-Men figs would make sense In that setting. This display ,on the other hand, can be used for pretty much any style of action figure.Modern figures look great with It...... ......but I think I prefer the way the larger ,vintage  figures look. Rambo Is already a kick ass line  of figures but this display makes them pop even more! This display  even makes knock off 80's military figs look bad ass ! B.A. Is about to walk In on an illegal chop shop (is that redundant?) operation! 90's Marvel Superheroes figures pop on their own,no display needed, but they look good displayed here. Incorporating figures around the back of the display Is something I should have done more In the above pics. The open area on the door can be a nice place to display extra figures seeing as how the front Is a little limited ,space wise. I'm really liking the wa...

Marvel Select Display Set Ups (Part 1)

Image
I don't know why I keep picking up pieces like these two Marvel Select displays.I don't have any room for them, LOL!!These last couple of days I've been brainstorming on how to display my stashed collection of contemporary 3 3/4 action figures. I've got Star Wars ,Indiana Jones,Marvel Universe ,G.I. Joe  and various DC figs with nowhere to put them.At the least, these display pieces  allow me to have some fun with them even If It's only for picture purposes.Today we'll be looking at the X-Men Danger Room! The top pic shows how It should display normally but I chose to lay It on It's side to accommodate more figures.Once I get some extra shelf space ,this Is where I'll display my X-Men figures. THE DANGER ROOM ROUGE'S UP TO HER WAIST IN RATHTAR! <<DANGER ROOM..INITIATE SABRETOOTH SEQUENCE>>                                           ...
