2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

Before I go into #7 on my top 10 of 2025 list, I want to clarify that these aren't figures that necessarily released in 2025. These are figures that I picked up in 2025 . So, there's that.  #7 This set means a lot to me. A few years back, probably around the time Covid was wreaking havoc worldwide, I fell on some hard times. I sold off a lot of my figures  including my set of Playmates TMNT Eastman Laird comic book  figures. It was one of those sellers remorse situations and I always said that i'd reclaim a set when the time was right. Well, a few months back I found this boxed set including all 4 turtles plus alternate versions of classic Splinter and Shredder for about $25.  Fave Factor: This set is more of a sentimental favorite than anything else. The figures themselves are pretty great but what they represent is much greater. #8 MOTU Origins is one of those lines that you can walk away from knowing there'll be something new and extremely cool waiting for you when you decide to start collecting it again. I blame Necro- Conda for my Origins relapse 😉  Fave Factor: Necro- Conda easily cracks this top 10 list. I mean just look at him! He looks like the snake creature in Dreamscape. There's a fun factor with figures like this, too. The soft goods cape, accessories and alternate snake tail give you different ways of displaying and photographing. Necro- Conda easily takes the 8 spot on my top 10 from 2025  list. 

#9 TMNT hasn't been on my radar since the first series of 4 inch Eastman and Laird comic book figures. That all changed when I walked into, of all places, Walgreens and saw some Mutant Mayhem figures in the toy aisle. SDTB  had already piqued my interest in the line  so I picked up Leonardo and subsequently the rest of the turtles at my local Walmart. Of the 4, Raphael ended up being my favorite.  Fave Factor:  Marketing is a real thing and in this case it was the figures that made me want to peep the animated film, which made me want to buy more figures. And like most TMNT merch, these guys  pop and literally scream for you to pick them off of the pegs in toy aisles. What made this line of turtles so cool, for me anyways, was their different body molds. Raphael is the bulkier of the four and sports the full cowl over his head. He comes in at #9 on my top 10 of 2025 list.

This next segment of posts will feature my favorite 10 figures from 2025.  *At the very end of each of these "Top 10" posts you're going to see the " Fave Factor". The "Fave Factor" is basically the reason why a particular figure stands out to me. The reason why they've made the list. #10 When I set out to collect these MOTU Power Attack figures, based on the Netflix series, Beast Man had yet to be released. I thought that was a bummer because he was one of my favorite characters on the show. He would see a later release as a larger scale deluxe figure but even then he was nowhere to be found in the wild. It took a while but a few months back  I finally pulled the trigger on a Beast Man listing on eBay.  Fave Factor : I was already a fan of the action figure line and show but when they introduced Beast Man into the series I needed to add him to my collection.
