2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

 #2 It's no mystery that Legends has been killing it with their super popular line of 6 inch Marvel action figures. I've been able to resist the urge, opting to cherry pick figures and sets here and there.  Fave Factor: Marvel Legends Gamerverse Punisher/Nick Fury embodies everything I love about the characters and the 16 bit Sega Genesis video game. Besides two really great action figures you're getting a crap-load of weapons an explosion effect, alternate hands, cash filled suitcase plus a cool 16 bit backdrop. These are also my favorite Punisher head sculpts to date.

More junk food for the brain! The Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe! I'll keep this in the stash and flip through it on a rainy day. 

I managed to find this Toybiz Pun fig for a really good price mainly because of the hideous packaging.  I'd like to say that for it's time, trench coat Punisher was a cool figure. But let's be honest, Obi-Wan was sporting this fit back in '77. It's ok I guess. A little too tight to remove and I didn't want to risk tearing it so for now it stays on. One thing I love about these Toybiz figures is their shininess! The 90's kept it glossy with their action figures.  My Punisher action figure collection is taking shape. A few more key figures and I'll be content.

A quick pivot from action figures to comic books, these are my most recent additions. Actually, the first issue is an older pick up, the rest are newly added. Looking forward to reading through these! 

How do you guys keep it nerdy? 

I think I've been doing a pretty good job of holding back when it comes to Marvel Legends and GIJoe Classified figures. But just when I think I'm in the clear with no real need to add anything new to my collection.... ...this happens!  Ahhh, the marriage of action figure and video game! But this ain't your ordinary video game themed action figure set. For me, this is "THE" video game themed action figure set. I absolutely loved this game! Back in the day my cousin and I would sit in front of the television for hours playing this shit! True, the weed magnified the effect the game had on us but there was no denying how bad-ass it was. Hasbro punched me right in the nards with this set and it hurt. But at least I have kick ass figures of The Punisher and Nick Fury to show for it!  ( Insanely co...

I'm not one to pull the trigger too fast on anything that has just been released. I usually wait it out to see if the price comes down or if the reviews are positive. With this set though, I had to make an exception. I'll give you the deets as soon as I get these guys out of their plastic restraints. Loose pics coming!
