2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

#3 Coming in at number 3 we have two 2025 pick ups that literally brightened things up here on 2 Minute Toy Break. I had been in a bit of a toy funk when these guys showed up in my eBay MOTU Origins search at a very good price for the pair. I snagged them up, they arrived and greatness ensued! Fave Factor: For me it's mostly about the colors with these guys. The colorful combinations of greens, yellows, reds, pinks and smokey blues give Sun-Man and Pig-Head an aesthetic edge over the competition. They don't just pop on display, they shine brilliantly!

It's always nice to be able to shift from one action figure brand to another. Especially when the hobby starts to get a little too pricey and/or repetitive. After picking up a few Origins figures, I found myself checking out the Masterverse line as well. There weren't many figures that caught my eye but Pig-Head, once again, won me over.  I mean, just look at him! He's like a cross between General Spidrax, Bebop and Road Pig!    Marvel Legends and GI Joe Classified have some really cool figures out right now but most are way too overpriced for me. Transformers aren't even on my radar.  Thank goodness for Mattel and the MOTU franchise. With so much character variety and affordability, they're really hitting the spot for me right now. More Masters of the Universe goodness on the way! Stay tuned! 

I can't make heads or tails of OLMEC Toys decision to make Sun-Man's archenemy a pig. TMNT predates OLMECS Rulers of the Sun line so maybe, possibly Pig- Head is just a derivative of Bebop. We'll never know. What I do know is that Pig-Head is a pretty damn cool action figure. These Rulers of the Sun figures take me back to the early 80s, when knockoffs and bootlegs were prevalent. I like that they went with a mace as the primary weapon. Weapons of precision ( I. e. crossbow or sword)  woudn't have made much sense for a bruiser like Pig-Head.  I really like Pig-Head and for the price I think he's totally worth adding to your collection.
