2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

More Minimates! It goes to show you how uninterested I am with anything currently being sold in the toy aisles. Plus, everything seems to be going up in price. I miss the days of $7.99 3 3/4 action figures😒 But I digress.  My latest Minimates pick ups were must haves for my small but growing collection. Hulk SMASH! and Punisher kicks ass!

More Minimates goodness! Tons more on my want list! 

My #10 POP! should have been MLB related, more specifically,  Oakland Athletics related since they were my next obsession after Spidey and all things Marvel. Unfortunately, the A's mascot POP! was a little too overpriced for me, though, so I'll jump ahead to another one of my childhood jams! Horror flicks!  I loved my horror flicks as a kid and The Shining was a big reason why! Don't get me wrong, Texas Chainsaw Massacre,  Friday the 13th and A Nightmare On Elm St. all made me shit my pants as a kid but nothing made me say "WTF!" more than The Shining. 

I'm all in right now with this highly addictive line of mini figures! So many to choose from! Today we look at Daredevil and Kingpin!

Wolverine was a must have for me in this extensive line of Marvel Minimates figures. While I'm not that excited about the Brood figure, I still like it and remember reading the story arc back in the day. 

Shortly after my Joe-mance, Marvel quickly became the focal point. This Spider-Man bobblehead POP! represents just that. We're talking early 90s when I had pretty much phased out GI Joe and action figure collecting altogether. I still loved some of the Toybiz Marvel stuff but was mainly into the comics. 

Here's the other 2 pack I picked up last week. I used my light box and zoomed in with my phones camera to show just how vibrant and detailed the paint apps are on these figures. Once again I'm kicking myself for not getting into these sooner as some of the more popular sets are pretty pricey. I may start picking up loose figures. Stay tuned for future Minimates posts 😉
