House of Wax!

Image
"The local Wax Museum is having a fire sale and you have the opportunity to add a life-size, life-like action figure to your collection. Who do you choose?" Dees ees tuff!Damn,so many to choose from.I don't want an actual wax representation of a person, instead It would be a wax action figure,If that's possible. It's going to be between these two... I loved the fact that I was able to add a Titan sized Hulk to my collection,so a life sized replica of this figure would be amazing!Damn <swaying my head from side to side>,just thinking about it... Or.. This guy right here!I've seen the mini Secret Wars bobble heads at Walgreens and the jumbo sized ones online, but a life size Secret Wars figure w/ shield would be epic! All right ,let's flip one of my lucky 80's  coins,1982 to be exact.Heads Hulk, tails Captain America... And the winner Is  Secret Wars Captain America ! There are a plethora of Pop Culture

Marvel Universe Silver Surfer

I think the reason I've become so attached to the Marvel Universe line of figures Is because as a kid ,I didn't have the privilege of having so many different figures to choose from. I had  Marvel Secret Wars ,a great line that only yielded a handful of heroes. And by the time Toy Biz came along,I had already slipped into baseball card collecting, although the X-Men figures never strayed too far from my radar. What Hasbro has done Is remain consistent, releasing wave after wave of  3 3/4 Marvel Universe figures, appealing to the deprived kid In me that only had 10 or so Marvel related figures to choose from back In the early 80s.I think that's what has me,after almost 6 years of action figure re-collecting,still seeking out new Marvel characters to add to my personal universe. And I have Hasbro to thank for making that possible. What Is my "personal universe " you ask?Well, you have to be careful with the rabbit hole that Is Hasbro's Marvel Universe. You can easily

Marvel Infinite Series - Beast

This Is such a stud figure.Damn near perfect,If It weren't for the lack of an ab crunch. The bright blue captures the essence of the Beasts character as does the head sculpt. You can almost hear him growling.Oh,sorry that was my stomach.Back to the figure, though.Hasbro got everything right, but the  lack of ab articulation. At least he's got rocker ankles and his legs move freely to execute those Beast like poses.I think he's a bit underrated and If you act fast,he's selling for 4.99 shipped on eBay right now from Hasbro Toy Shop. What am I talking about, you guys probably already have him.But chances are you paid more than I did :p
